This year’s Salsa congress was very entertaining indeed. The main theme running through this year’s jack and Jill contest, was taking off shirts! Last year it was talking on cell phones while dancing. In the Jack and Jill contest, where the couples are matched up randomly, there were a few couples that stood out the most. Here are 2 of my favorite Salsa videos.
Sexy Latin and Ballroom dancer, Karen Hauer had auditioned with her hubby Mathew Hauer and has made it to the top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance Season 6! Karen currently resides is Queens, NY. She had moved to the U.S.A from Venezuela and works as a professional dancer and personal trainer. The Judges said that when Karen dances she is Jennifer Lopez hot! And who wouldn’t agree? – See for yourself! 
Married Ballroom dance couple Ryan Di Lello and Ashleigh Di Lello have made it through to the top 20
in season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance! Before they got married and became dance partners, they used to compete against one another in local ballroom dance competitions. I must agree with the judges that Ryan is a fabulous dancer who puts on a very genuine performance every single time. As Opposed to his wife, Ashleigh, who needs to work on drawing the audience into her performances a little bit more. Either way, they have both made it to the top 20 so let’s wish them good luck.
Ever since Max Kozhevnikov had stopped dancing competitively, he has been performing shows all around the world with the lovely Beata. I must say that their shows are extraordinary! They are not the usual Latin and Ballroom shows that mainly run through their competitive dance routines. Instead, their shows are filled with many genres of dance mixed together and lots of acting. In a way, Max and Beata are revolutionizing the way dance shows are performed…
