what would be the appropriate forum to find a dance partner by level of rediness, i.e., beginner, intermediate, advanced.

Welcome to the forum!

 

There are many websites that have classified ads for dance partners.

Here are links to a few of them:

http://www.ballroomdancers.com/ – click on “classified ads” on the right sidebar.

http://www.dancesportinfo.net/ – they have a nice partner search section (more for competitors)

http://www.dancepartner.com/ – I haven't personally used this one, but you can check it out.

thanks Leon, didnt have much luck on the sites you suggested, will keep trying;
I hope youre going to be 1 part  the 'mystery performance couple' for the show dance @THE HARVARD INVITATIONAL, APRIL 23RD,2011. Maybe Ill see you there-Larry

Yes they require registration…

good luck and let us know about your progress of finiding a partner.

 

And thanks for wanting to see me perform, but I can confirm that it will definitely NOT be me performing at the Harvard competition…haha

You could also try http://www.accessdance.com

It not really partner search website, but it works as a listing, where people search dance lessons, dance studios, dance instructors and students. So you always can find random people looking for dance partner.
