I think its the footwork similarity…in both soccer and dancing you have to master the footwork!

 I see what you mean now .  Leon

The Reason I tought your comments were funny is because when I first started taking dance lessons I was flat footed and had  a hell of a time bending my knees . The instructor asked me if  I played soccer since a couple of her  of her students were soccer players and they had similar problems . 'No pun intented'.
