It’s hard to practice alone without the partner initiating the movement. I can only remember when I’m led into it. My mind cannot recall it at home. I’ve been dancing about two years. Msybe someday I’ll get beyond this.

Penelope, It takes time to be able to do the steps on your own. But I definitely recommend you try to practice the steps on your own… And well, USE OUR VIDEOS to review anything you don’t remember!

Nicely done Leon. I think you also said practice one hour outside of class for every hour in class, right?
Leon Turetsky says
Hi David, Yes that’s a good rule of thumb to strive for.
DAVID BURRESON says
Thank you Leon, your lessons are very helpful to me as a 2nd year bronze student.
I think its important that the student take notes during and after the lesson and even ask the teacher what we just covered! So often, after working all day, and then dancing in the evening, by the time I get home I easily forget.
